After studying business Administration at IFAM in Paris, Mr. Faure Romanelli spent a year working at Clos du Val, in Napa Valley in production and sales. Mr. Faure Romanelli then spent the following 20 years in the investment banking industry with bulge-bracket global institutions (UBS, Société Générale, Barings and Nomura International) and boutique firms (FOR Securities and Gruppo Banca del Ceresio). Whilst at Barings in 1994 he participated in listing the first winery in the world to have its shares traded on the New York Stock Exchange Concha y Toro, Chile's leading winery. Mr. Faure Romanelli was a Senior Advisor to Gruppo Banca del Ceresio, one of the oldest and largest family offices in Switzerland. Formerly he was a Partner at FOR Securities – a London based boutique investment bank – where he advised hedge funds on investment opportunities in global equity markets. At Nomura, he was a Director of the High Technology & Life Sciences Investment Banking Division and Principal Finance Group, focusing on Corporate Finance, M&A, and Advisory business in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Japan. Previously, Mr. Faure Romanelli was a Special Advisor to Emilio Azcárraga Milmo, Mexican billionaire and ex-Chairman and CEO of Grupo Televisa SA de CV in Mexico, the largest integrated media company in the Hispanic world. His latest venture was to set up a family office cum investment banking business, specializing in investments in niche markets such as Timber, Renewable Energy, and Water Infrastructure.

Mr. Faure Romanelli sits on the board of a real estate investment management company based in Milan, Italy. He speaks English, French, Italian and Spanish fluently. His family has been involved in the wine industry in Tuscany and France for three generations, and his wife’s family owns one of Italy’s leading wineries, San Leonardo.
