Justin M. Faggioli is a rancher, managing family-owned ranches in Sonoma and Tulare Counties (California). He also works with small businesses to improve their financial performance and to respond to growth opportunities. Ranch activities include 200 acres of vineyards located in the Southern Sonoma Valley.
In 2004, Justin joined the Board of Directors of Niman Ranch, Inc., one of the leaders in the natural beef, pork and lamb industry. In 2006, the Board of Directors asked Justin to step in as CEO to improve the company’s performance. Justin still serves on the board of directors.
From 1995 to 2001, Justin was Executive Vice President/Secretary/COO/Co-General Manager of Ravenswood Winery. He was part of a management team that guided the company through: profitable annual growth in excess of 25% per year, an IPO, and the sale of the company to Constellation Brands in 2001.
In 1983, Justin joined E. D. Bullard Company as Executive Vice President this privately owned manufacturer of safety and personal protective products. He worked with the President to turn the company around. Today it is a growing, profitable company with a highly motivated management team and workforce. Justin still serves on the board of directors.
Justin’s other current board positions include:
- J. H. Baxter, Inc.: This is an· ongoing turnaround of a small, privately owned forest products company.
- Sitka, Inc.: A start-up company that is bringing advanced fabrics and clothing to the outdoors enthusiast market. Initial market reaction is extremely favorable and the company is well ahead of its projections.
Justin’s non-profit activities include:
- President of the Board of Trustees of the Thacher School (Ojai, CA)
- Director of the Grabhorn Institute, the non-profit arm of the Arion Press, a publisher of limited edition, hand crafted books illustrated by prominent artists.
- Former President of Family Winemakers of California
- Former Councilmember and twice Mayor of Belvedere, CA
Justin received his bachelors and masters degrees in Earth Sciences from Stanford University (1974) and an MBA from Harvard University (1979).
He and his wife, Sandra Donnell, have two children, Nathaniel (25) and Claire (23). He is an avid SCUBA diver, traveler, naturalist and reader. |
